In 2021, Alex Donnachie competed at X Games in technical cargo pants while most riders wore traditional denim or chinos. His choice made sense: modern action sports demand clothing that is breathable, lightweight and flexible.

Monticule was created to build that clothing—designed and tested alongside some of the world’s best BMX and skate athletes.
